Are these firepits safe to put on a wood or composite deck?
Yes, many of our gas fire tables and bowls are specifically designed and UL-listed to be safely operated on wood or composite decks. Unlike wood-burning firepits, there are no flying sparks or intense downward heat. We can guide you to the exact models approved for deck use.
Do I need a large propane tank, or can I use a standard 20lb grill tank?
Many of our fire tables feature a base large enough to hide a standard 20lb propane cylinder right inside the unit. However, if you want a lower-profile fire bowl, or simply want the convenience of never changing a tank, we highly recommend letting our team pipe it directly into your home's main bulk tank.
Do gas firepits actually put out heat?
Absolutely. While they offer stunning ambiance, they are also functional heaters. Many of our models push between 50,000 and 100,000 BTUs of heat, making them perfect for taking the chill out of crisp Kentucky evenings.
Can you convert a natural gas firepit to propane (or vice versa)?
Yes. The units we sell can be configured for either Liquid Propane (LP) or Natural Gas (NG). Just let our team know what fuel source you have at your home, and we will ensure it has the proper orifices and setup prior to installation.
